The Board Chair Chat conversations center around the board chair’s roles and responsibilities. While focusing on the board chair, these conversations will be open to superintendents and all school board members — those who may want to assume the board chair role in the future and those who simply want to learn how they can further support their current board chair.

Meetings will be held from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. on the first Wednesday of each month (from September 2023 through May 2024). Look for an email invitation in your email inbox around one day before each session or contact Bruce Lombard for Zoom information.

Email invitations will be sent to school board chairs at least one day before each meeting. If you can’t locate your email invitation, please contact MSBA’s Bruce Lombard to request the Zoom meeting link.
