Gov. Dayton orders flags at half-staff in honor of victims attack in Pittsburgh

In accordance with a proclamation issued by President Donald Trump, Gov. Mark Dayton has ordered all United States flags and Minnesota flags to be flown at half-staff at all state and federal buildings in the state of Minnesota.

As directed by the president’s proclamation, flags will be flown at half-staff beginning immediately, until sunset on Wednesday, October 31, 2018, as a mark of respect for the victims of the terrible act of violence in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

On Saturday, October 27, 2018, an act of violence was committed against the Jewish community at the Tree of Life Synagogue in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
