EPA presenting two “Reducing Lead in Drinking Water” webinars

SchoolWater

The Minnesota Department of Health and the Minnesota Department of Education have developed a model plan to require school districts and charter schools to accurately and efficiently test for lead in school drinking water. This plan is based on standards established by the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

The EPA has scheduled webinars from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. (Central time) Thursday, October 25, and Wednesday, October 31, regarding “The 3Ts for Reducing Lead in Drinking Water Toolkit.”

The 3Ts are “Training, Testing and Taking Action.” (The 3Ts were previously referred to as “Training, Testing and Telling.”)

Visit the EPA website to access webinar registration links and resources.
