State auditor report on licensure and election issues will highlight heavy education committee slate Thursday

Thursday, March 10, is set to be an education-heavy day in St. Paul. Five committee hearings are scheduled for lawmakers to discuss key education issues — most notably the Office of the Legislative Auditor’s report on teacher licensure.

Also, two elections issues will also be examined — one bill would change the primary election date and another bill would modify the timeline for when a special election is required to fill a school board vacancy.

House Education Policy Innovation Committee
