With the upcoming 2024 elections, there is increased anxiety around the current political polarization in our communities.

Join your public service colleagues from across the state for this special workshop, which will equip you with practical tools you can use immediately when a constituent, colleague, or community member tells you how wrong you are and how you should change course. These skills can help lower stress that comes from having difficult conversations and help you feel more confident in your role as an elected or appointed leader. You will come away with strategies to better soften critics, find common ground, and reduce the rancor in our increasingly divisive environment.

Brought to you through a collaboration between Braver Angels, the League of Minnesota Cities, the Association of Minnesota Townships, the Minnesota School Boards Association, and the Association of Minnesota Counties.

Please note: This is course is recommended for those who did not participate in the 2023 workshops of the same name, or those looking for a refresher in skills.
