Minnesota Parent Involvement Month in October

      The Minnesota Parent Center/MN PIRC is sponsoring October's Parent Involvement Month. (MSBA and several other education organizations are co-sponsors.)
      The event will help celebrate the powerful role parents play in their children's education with activities at schools statewide.
      This year, parents will again be able to nominate their schools in a statewide Family-Friendly School contest (see link below for nominating form), find fun ideas on a family activities calendar and take part in a variety of school activities highlighting the importance of parents being involved in their child's education.
      Also, the Parent Center's fourth annual Parent Conference is scheduled for Oct. 28-Oct. 29 at the PACER Center in Bloomington. See the Save the Date postcard below for details.
